- 0.5 medium yellow onion, finely diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
- 1.5 cups water, for lentils
- 2 tablespoons tomato paste
- 1.5 teaspoons berbere spice blend
- 0.5 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 0.5 teaspoon sea salt
- 0.25 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 cups collard greens, chopped, stems removed
- 0.5 cup millet flour
- 0.25 cup all-purpose flour
- 0.6 cup warm water, for dough

- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds, toasted
