›How does household sharing work?
One person creates the household, then invites everyone else by email. Every member sees the same lists, recipes, and meal plan, and changes sync in real time. A household holds up to 6 people, and one Pro subscription covers everyone in it.
›What are the 3 free AI tries?
Every account gets three free uses of the AI features: recipe imports, AI Chef chats and fridge scans, in any combination. AI meal plan generation is Pro only, so it doesn't use up a free try. After that, Pro unlocks unlimited use. Everything non-AI stays free forever.
›Do I need separate accounts for the app and the website?
Nope, it's one account. Sign up on the web or in the iPhone app with the same email and everything is there: lists, recipes, meal plan, and your Pro status.
›If I subscribe on my iPhone, is Pro active on the web too?
Yes. Pro is attached to your account, not your device. Subscribe once and every place you sign in is Pro.
›Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. If you subscribed in the iPhone app, cancel in your device Settings under Subscriptions. If you subscribed on the web, use the manage link in your receipt email. Either way Pro runs until the end of the paid period. No phone calls, no hoops.
›Where is my data stored?
The app is made by a Canadian company, but your account data is hosted in the United States, on secure Supabase infrastructure. We never sell or share it, and your recipes and lists are yours.
›Is there an Android app?
Not yet. The Android app is built and will mirror the iPhone app exactly once it reaches Google Play. Until then, the web portal works on any phone or computer with a browser, on the same account.
›What happens to my recipes if I stop paying for Pro?
Nothing. Your recipes, lists, and meal plans are never locked away. Pro only gates the AI features. Your data stays fully accessible on Free.
