Spicy Korean BBQ Beef Bowls

Tender, savory-sweet Korean barbecue beef served over a bed of fragrant jasmine rice, veggies, and crunchy kimchi - a family-friendly global adventure!
Ingredients
- 1.5 lbs flank steak, thinly sliced against the grain
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp ginger, grated
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
- 2 cups jasmine rice, cooked according to package
- 2 carrots, julienned
- 1 cucumber, julienned
- 1 cup kimchi
- 4 green onions, sliced
- 2 tbsp sesame seeds

In a large bowl, combine the soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, ginger, sesame oil, and red pepper flakes. Add the sliced flank steak and toss to coat. Cover and marinate for at least 30 minutes, up to 24 hours.

Heat a large skillet or wok over high heat. Add the marinated beef and cook, stirring frequently, until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
