Korean BBQ Beef Rice Bowls

Tender bulgogi beef simmered in a sweet and savory Korean-inspired marinade, served over fluffy brown rice and fresh veggies. A fun, build-your-own family meal.
Ingredients
- 1.5 lbs flank steak, thinly sliced
- 2 cups brown rice, cooked
- 2 carrots, julienned
- 1 cucumber, thinly sliced
- 4 green onions, sliced
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp ginger, grated
- 2 tsp sesame oil
- 2 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes, optional

In a large bowl, combine the soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, ginger, sesame oil, and rice vinegar. Add the sliced flank steak and toss to coat. Cover and marinate for 30 minutes to 1 hour in the refrigerator.

Heat a large skillet or wok over high heat. Add the marinated steak and cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring frequently, until the beef is cooked through and slightly caramelized.
