Korean Beef Bulgogi Bowl Bar

A fun, interactive family dinner where everyone builds their own Korean-inspired bowl with tender soy-ginger marinated beef, fluffy white rice, and a rainbow of fresh toppings. The sweet-savory marinade is kid-approved with optional gochujang heat for adventurous eaters!
Ingredients
- 1.5 lbs flank steak or sirloin, thinly sliced against the grain
- 4 tbsp soy sauce, low-sodium preferred
- 3 tbsp honey, or brown sugar for sweetness
- 2 tbsp sesame oil, toasted variety for deeper flavor
- 4 cloves garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tbsp fresh ginger, minced or grated
- 2 cups white rice, cooked
- 4 stalks scallions, sliced into rings
- 2 tbsp sesame seeds, for garnish
- 1 cup shredded carrots, optional topping
- 1 medium cucumber, sliced thin, optional topping
- 2 cups steamed broccoli florets, optional topping
- 1 tbsp gochujang paste, optional spicy drizzle for adults
