Teriyaki Salmon Bowl with Pineapple Fried Rice

Tender teriyaki salmon fillets served over a tropical pineapple fried rice, making a well-balanced and flavorful family dinner.
Ingredients
- 1.5 lbs salmon fillets, skin-on
- 1/2 cup soy sauce, low-sodium
- 3 tbsp brown sugar
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp ginger, grated
- 2 tsp sesame oil
- 2 cups white rice, cooked
- 1 cup pineapple, diced
- 1 cup carrots, shredded
- 1/2 cup green onions, chopped
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds

In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, ginger, and sesame oil to make the teriyaki sauce.

Place the salmon fillets in a baking dish and pour the teriyaki sauce over the top, turning to coat. Cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes to 1 hour to marinate.
