Vibrant Brazilian Steak Burrito Bowls

Tender, flavorful picanha steak sizzled with peppers and onions, served over a bed of cilantro-lime rice, black beans, and fresh veggies. A fun, build-your-own burrito bowl the whole family will love!
Ingredients
- 1.5 lbs picanha steak, can substitute flank or skirt steak
- 2 bell peppers, sliced into strips
- 1 onion, sliced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 2 lime, juiced
- 1/4 cup cilantro, chopped
- 2 cups brown rice, cooked
- 1 can black beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
- 1 avocado, diced
- 1 cup shredded cheese, cheddar or monterey jack
- 1/2 cup salsa

In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook the picanha steak for 4-6 minutes per side, until desired doneness. Transfer to a cutting board and let rest for 5 minutes, then slice against the grain.

In the same skillet, sauté the bell peppers and onion for 5-7 minutes until softened. Add the garlic, cumin, and chili powder. Cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
