Korean Beef Bulgogi Bowl with Crispy Shallots & Sesame Spinach

Tender marinated beef with sweet-savory Korean flavors served over fluffy white rice, topped with crispy fried shallots and garlicky sesame spinach. A family favorite that's interactive, delicious, and ready in under 45 minutes!
Ingredients
- 1.5 lbs beef sirloin or ribeye, sliced thin against the grain
- 0.33 cup low-sodium soy sauce
- 3 tbsp honey
- 2 tbsp sesame oil, toasted
- 2 tbsp rice vinegar
- 6 cloves garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tbsp ginger, minced fresh
- 2 cups white rice, uncooked
- 6 cups fresh spinach, packed
- 2 medium shallots, thinly sliced
- 0.25 cup vegetable oil for frying
- 2 tbsp sesame seeds, white or black, for garnish
- 2 stalks green onions, sliced, for garnish

Cook rice according to package directions (about 18-20 minutes). Set aside and keep warm.

While rice cooks, whisk together soy sauce, honey, sesame oil, rice vinegar, 4 minced garlic cloves, and ginger in a bowl. This is your bulgogi marinade.
