- 3 tablespoons honey, divided: 2 tbsp in dough, 1 tbsp for brushing
- 0.5 cup granulated sugar
- 0.25 cup brown sugar
- 1 whole egg yolk, room temperature
- 1.75 cups all-purpose flour
- 0.25 cup cornstarch
- 5 tablespoons toasted sesame seeds, divided: 3 tbsp in dough, 2 tbsp for topping
- 0.5 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 0.25 teaspoon sea salt
- 0.125 teaspoon fleur de sel, for finishing
