Spicy Sichuan Beef and Broccoli Stir-Fry

A flavor-packed Sichuan-style beef and broccoli stir-fry with a kick of heat and fragrant aromatics. Family-friendly with an option to adjust spice level.
Ingredients
- 1 lb flank steak, thinly sliced
- 4 cups broccoli florets, bite-sized pieces
- 1 red bell pepper, thinly sliced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp ginger, grated
- 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
- 2 tbsp Chinkiang black vinegar
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tsp Sichuan peppercorns, crushed
- 2 tsp cornstarch
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes, optional for extra heat

In a bowl, combine the sliced flank steak, soy sauce, black vinegar, brown sugar, and cornstarch. Toss to coat the beef and let marinate for 15 minutes.
