Zesty Brazilian Picanha Skewers

Tender, marinated beef picanha skewers with vibrant chimichurri sauce and a refreshing Brazilian-inspired slaw.
Ingredients
- 1.5 lbs beef picanha steak, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp lime juice
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp oregano
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 small red onion, thinly sliced
- 2 cups shredded cabbage
- 1 large carrot, shredded
- 2 tbsp lime juice
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 cup parsley, chopped
- 1/2 cup cilantro, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp red wine vinegar
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
- 1/2 tsp salt

In a large bowl, combine the beef, garlic, 3 tbsp olive oil, 2 tbsp lime juice, cumin, oregano, 1 tsp salt, and 1/2 tsp black pepper. Toss to coat the beef. Cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes to 1 hour.

While the beef marinates, make the slaw. In a large bowl, combine the sliced onion, shredded cabbage, shredded carrot, 2 tbsp lime juice, 1 tbsp olive oil, and 1/2 tsp salt. Toss to coat and set aside.
